An intimate dinner for 70 industry guests to celebrate the major retrospective of photographer Miles Aldridge's work, 'I Only Want You To Love Me' and MAC's ongoing partnership with iconic photographer at Somerset House's Embankment Galleries.
Hosted by Miles Aldridge and James Gager, guests at the dinner included models Tallulah Harlech, Jade Parfitt, Portia Freeman and Maddison Brudenell, actress and writer Daisy Bates, Marissa Montgomery, Daphne Guinness, and Bip Ling.
Working in partnership with MAC Cosmetics' global design studio, I sourced a local fabricator and lighting specialist to produce the two long tables with a central metal structure to avoid the need for multiple impractical table legs, and install a colour changing LED light strip with frosted acrylic diffuser. The lighting sequence was set to transition at a calm pace to offer surprise and delight moments of colour throughout the evening. This also complemented the bold colours of the exhibition walls and photography on display.
I was also lucky enough to work with one of London's top caterers, Cellar Society, who not only offered an immaculately presented 3 course meal, but we also partnered in creating a choreographed service sequence to music, which resulted in a round of applause from guests.
